IKEv2

If your VPN provider offers it as a potential protocol, don't use it, it is a joint venture between Microsoft and Cisco, it is closed source (like Windows) ie, they own the source code and no independent person can examine it, so you just have their word for it being secure, it is not! One advantage of being such a high value target is that you get to find out what works and what does not and I tried IKEv2 but had all sorts of problems with it, especially when trying to stream live TV. I changed to Wireguard, which is opensource ie anyone can examine source code and suggest improvements and have no more issues!
