No one is saying you shouldn't be a transvestite Mr or is it Mrs Izzard, fuck knows? Also I have no problem with self identification even though I do find it rather confusing calling a he a she etc. However the law HAS to depend on biological facts (at birth) to determine a person's legal gender. That is all I and (I presume) that author is saying.
