...in Israel, the leader of the opposition doesn't sound much different to the extreme Zionist that are currently in charge. Not surprising really as Israel is a Zionist State, so not surprising that only Zionists exist within it's unlawfully acquired borders. I don't think Israel will ever accept a two state solution based on 1967 borders (unless forced to). They want a greater Israel that at least encompasses all the currently occupied territories (and at least some of Lebanon), with some commentators suggesting that Zionists ultimately want a greater Israel that encompasses all the land between the Euphrates river and the river Nile.

This need for a buffer zone in Southern Lebanon instead of entering into dialogue over a ceasefire deal in Gaza and Lebanon ultimately leading to a two State solution is nonsense as a buffer zone will create a new border for Hezbollah to attack more vehemently as Israel is now occupying Labanese land so Israel creates a new buffer zone further north, then Hezbollah keeps attacking from there, assuming Hezbollah can't push Israel back, this would continue until Israel occupies the whole of Lebanon and Hezbollah is forced into Syria, from where they attack, so Israel create a buffer zone in Syria to protect Lebanon and so it proceeds, then suddenly the Euphrates thing doesn't seem so daft.

The Arabs (as it's been proved again and again) can't go up against a US backed Israel. That is why we need a free and independent Europe as a political and military balance to Pro Israeli America. The US MUST choose between her real friends in Western Europe or her Zionist rulers (blackmailing occupiers really as they are a minority) from Eastern Europe. If America insists on backing the losers in Israel, that's their issue as Israel's Zionist ideology is wrong in every sense and MUST be opposed.
