I have no information to confirm or deny Mr Lavrov's less than logical claim, while Israrel is 'offended' by Mr Lavrov's claim.
The only thing I would say is while watching historical documentaries about that unfortunate period in History, I could not help but notice that some of the Germans accused of unspeakable crimes against the Jews appeared themselves to have Jewish sounding names, which I have always found Bizarre!
